FRONT OF HOUSE - FULL TIME

Laynes opened in 2011 and has been a leading coffee and brunch destination in Leeds ever since.

As we move into 2026 we are looking for a talented and passionate part time front of house server to join us.

JOB DETAILS:

· Starting pay of £12.21 an hour plus a healthy monthly tips allocation paid on top of that rate. 

- Holiday pay allocated each calendar year.

· Free meals during work shifts and 25% staff discounts for out of work visits…but we’ll always sort you out with a brew. 

THE APPLICANT:

- Have experience and knowledge of what constitutes customer service and satisfaction.

- Be able to provide this excellent customer service in fast paced environment. Due to our location next to Leeds train station we have very busy periods of the day where efficiency is key. 

- We’d love for someone with a keen interest in the style of coffee and food we serve to join us, someone who would enjoy learning about the coffee world and be able to communicate what they know with an inquisitive customer. 

- Must ensure our company standards of service are met at all times, even at our most busiest.

- Knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene regulations would be an advantage though we will train in these areas.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: Starting at £12.21 per hour pus tips

Shifts: 8 hour shifts 2 or 3 times a week. Weekend and evening availability required. Shifts can start as early as 7am or finish as late as 8pm

Ability to commute to our city centre location found right next to leeds train station for early starts is essential.

Early Starts - please be ok with getting to work for 7am start times!
